- Fresh compressor oil to keep the heart of your system protected. The compressor relies on this oil to stay lubricated, and when it runs low it dries out, overheats and eventually seizes, which is one of the most expensive failures a car can have.
- A UV leak dye added at the same time. It is invisible in everyday use, but if a small leak ever develops it lets us pinpoint the exact source in minutes rather than chasing it blind, saving time and money down the line.
- A pollen filter check while we are in there. If it needs replacing we will tell you first, so there are no surprises (this would be an additional cost if required).
- A passenger cabin anti-bacterial clean using an ozone generator. Damp and bacteria build up deep inside the vents where ordinary cleaning cannot reach. Ozone is a gas, so it travels everywhere the air does, breaking down the bacteria, mould and stale smells at the source rather than masking them, leaving air you are happy for your family to breathe.

Hi [CUSTNAME],
Thanks for getting in touch about your air conditioning.
It is easily the question we hear most at this time of year, and the honest answer is that it depends on what your system actually needs. So that we give you the right price rather than a figure that changes once the car is with us, there is one thing we need to know first.
Is your air conditioning still blowing cold, or has it stopped working?
That single answer points us towards one of two very different jobs.
If your system has stopped working
This is not a re-gas. When a system is no longer cooling, something has usually gone wrong, and simply putting more gas in would not be safe, legal or lasting. We treat this as air conditioning fault finding, where we properly diagnose where the problem lies before anything is quoted. This is charged at £144 including VAT and gives you a clear picture of what is actually wrong, rather than guesswork.
If your system is still working and just needs a top up
If your air conditioning is still cooling, still holds gas, passes our vacuum and leak test, and we are legally allowed to re-gas it, then a straightforward re-gas is £144 including VAT.
Here is what that includes, and where we go further than most:
